The Nursery Is Started...

This weekend Jerry and I decided that we would get the painting done in the nursery so when we are expecting we won't have to worry about it.  Today we purchased the paint and got started.  We are painting the ceiling and about 16 inches down the wall light blue and the rest is a beige.  We will be adding white picture molding between the two colors.  I will be posting pictures later this weekend.  We probably won't get to the pictures molding this weekend as we need our nail gun that is currently at our other home in KY.

Here is a picture of my inspiration.  We are doing the painting, molding and letters; that way when we find out if we are having a boy or a girl (when we get pregnant again that is) we can accent it to match the gender:

It is going to look great! What a lucky baby-to-be that will get to have that room.

PS-I loved that show!

So true we get more time to get ready and make things just so so. Love that show too and when I saw her do this room a light bulb went off in my head because it is neutral enough it could go either way.
